About Us

Our journey began in 2010 with a vision to promote women’s empowerment and foster a community of strong, empowered individuals who would continue this legacy. Led by Kaneez UR Rehman, we founded Lemon Tree CIC to support and uplift women within our local community. As our mission grew, so did the need for quality childcare that catered to diverse families, which led to the creation of Lemon Tree Manchester Ltd. in 2015.

Since then, we have proudly established a reputation for providing outstanding childcare and bilingual services. With recognition from Ofsted, including an Outstanding rating from 2017 to 2023 and now rated Good, our nursery has thrived by offering exceptional care, a highly skilled team, and an inclusive environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive.

Building on the success of Lemon Tree, we are excited to announce the opening of our new branch, Lote Tree Nursery Ltd., in January 2025, located in Cheetham Hill, Manchester. This new location continues our commitment to serving the community, providing quality play-based learning for children aged 2-5 years. We welcome children from all across Greater Manchester, ensuring each child receives personalised care and education in a nurturing, secure, and diverse setting.

Our team of dedicated staff members comes from a wide range of backgrounds, contributing to a rich cultural experience for the children. We remain devoted to creating a space where every child feels safe and supported, offering opportunities for non-stereotypical play, exploration, and learning.

At Lote Tree Nursery Ltd., we uphold the same high standards as our first branch, including the use of CCTV to ensure a secure environment. Our commitment to excellence, coupled with a passion for helping children reach their full potential, remains at the heart of everything we do.
